Toffee Slice

I have been very fortunate that people freely share their recipes with me but I certainly do it in return as well. This recipe was shared by a friend Mary when we were on a committee together, she brought it along to a meeting one day, needless to say it was very popular and I have made this many times since.

This slice goes by the name of Toffee Crack or just Crack and can be topped with many different toppings or the chocolate left plain. The topping can represent any of the many celebrations during the year, with crushed candy canes or red and green sprinkles or M & M’s for Christmas, mini marshmallows, crushed nuts, flaked almonds, toasted coconut.

Toffee Crack keeps well and can be packaged to give as gifts and is well received.
