Although a pavlova is reasonably easy to make they have the appearance of a much more complicated dessert and once you have a good pav recipe up your sleeve you too can be the one that gets the accolades.
This recipe is an all in together recipe and so long as the sugar dissolves well you will have a perfect pav every time.(you test this by rubbing a bit of the mixture between your fingers if it feels gritty it still needs beating a bit longer)
The toppings are endless for a pav, freshly whipped cream to start and any chopped fruit or chocolate bar are quick and easy toppings or to add a bit of flair top the whipped cream with sliced banana and dollop with caramel to make a Banoffee Pav, or top cream with mixed berries and a berry coulis (sauce) for a vibrant dessert.
