Taco’s are a regular meal in our house but we use that same mince mixture in various different Mexican dishes; Taco’s, Mexican stack, Mexican bowl, Quesadillas’, Mexican Lasagne, as a pizza topping to name a few.
Basic taco’s are a very quick meal to prepare, on the table in 30 minutes, preparing the salad ingredients while the meat is cooking. This is one of the first meals that I showed my children to cook, one because it was easy but mostly because it was something that they really enjoyed eating.
I love this recipe because I usually have most of the basic ingredients in the pantry and then add some fresh ingredients to make a meal.

Notes
Use this meat mixture as a base to make many various Mexican style meals.
You can exchange chicken mince for the beef mince.
I quite often add a can of kidney beans to the mixture.
Use for Burrito filling, Mexican Stack filling, Cob filling, Mexican Bowl.
