Honey Oat Slice

A pretty comforting and easy baked slice that is perfect for morning tea or the lunchbox.

Using the simplest of ingredients and made in just 20 minutes this is the slice for you, when there is little time and no trip the supermarket needed, just get baking.

A slice packed with goodness, oats, sultanas and honey

Ingredients
  

  • 125 g Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Cup Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 Cup Coconut
  • 1/2 Cup Self Raising Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Raw Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Sultanas
  • 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions
 

  • Line a slice tray with baking paper and preheat oven 180C.
  • In a small saucepan heat the butter and honey over low heat until butter is melted.
  • In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients.
  • Add the butter mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until combined, press into prepared slice tray.
  • Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until golden.
  • Cool in the tin before cutting into pieces and store in an airtight container.

Notes

Sultanas and chocolate can be replaced with any dried fruit of your choice.
Freezes well so is good for the lunchbox.
