Irresistible chocolate biscuits jam packed with chocolate chips, I’ve also made them with M&M’s, Smarties etc.
Deliciously fudgy on the inside, this is a one bowl easy recipe, no creaming the butter and sugar for this one and you can freeze the dough in logs or in balls for baking in a hurry.
They are perfect for lunch boxes and snacks for everyone big or small.
Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
Fudgy Chocolate Cookies choc full of chocolate chips.
Ingredients
- 150 gm Butter
- 1/2 Cup Brown sugar
- 1/2 Cup White sugar
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Egg
- 2 Cup Plain flour
- 1/3 Cup Cocoa
- 1 tsp Bicarbonate Soda
- 200 gm Chocolate Chips, any
Instructions
- Preheat the oven 170 C.
- Line 4 trays with baking paper.
- In a large bowl melt the butter. I use the microwave.
- Add the both sugars, vanilla and cocoa, stir well to combine.
- Mix in the egg.
- Stir in the flour and bicarb soda.
- Mix in the chocolate chips .
- Roll 1 tablespoon of the dough into balls and place on the trays, flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10 minutes, turning halfway.
- Cookies are cooked when they will twist on the tray without breaking.
- Cool on trays.
- Store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
Use any chocolate chips, or a combination, Dark, Milk, White, Caramilk, Peanut butter chips, M&M’s, smarties or any other chocolate.
