extra sugar for rolling
Instructions
Preheat oven 180 C
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until soft and fluffy
Add egg and golden syrup, mix well
Add flour, spice and currants, mix well
Roll in heaped teaspoon sized balls
Roll in extra sugar and flatten slightly
Bake on lined baking trays for approximately 15-20 minutes
Cool on trays
