Smoky Barbeque Meatballs

Beef bacon and cheese meatballs with barbeque sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Minced Beef
  • 2 Rashers bacon, finely chopped
  • 3/4 Cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 75 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 Small Onion, grated
  • 2 tsp Garlic, chopped
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 3 Tbsp Smoky Barbeque sauce
  • 3/4 Cup Smoky Barbeque sauce, Extra
  • 3/4 Cup Mozzarella Cheese grated, Extra

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven 180 C
  2. In a large bowl collect all the ingredients except extra barbeque sauce and extra cheese.
  3. Combine the mixture well.
  4. Roll the meat mixture into balls and place onto an oven tray/dish, depending how I am serving these meatballs depends on the size I make them, larger for a meal with mash or smaller for finger food.
  5. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
  6. Brush with half of the extra sauce, bake a further 5 minutes.
  7. Repeat the last step and sprinkle with extra Mozzarella bake a further 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and enjoy.

Notes

Just as good portioned larger for a meal or made mini and served as finger food with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
