Smoky Barbeque Meatballs

Beef bacon and cheese meatballs with barbeque sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Minced Beef
  • 2 Rashers bacon, finely chopped
  • 3/4 Cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 75 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 Small Onion, grated
  • 2 tsp Garlic, chopped
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 3 Tbsp Smoky Barbeque sauce
  • 3/4 Cup Smoky Barbeque sauce, Extra
  • 3/4 Cup Mozzarella Cheese grated, Extra

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven 180 C
  • In a large bowl collect all the ingredients except extra barbeque sauce and extra cheese.
  • Combine the mixture well.
  • Roll the meat mixture into balls and place onto an oven tray/dish, depending how I am serving these meatballs depends on the size I make them, larger for a meal with mash or smaller for finger food.
  • Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
  • Brush with half of the extra sauce, bake a further 5 minutes.
  • Repeat the last step and sprinkle with extra Mozzarella bake a further 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and enjoy.

Notes

Just as good portioned larger for a meal or made mini and served as finger food with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
