Slow Cooked Mint Lamb Shanks

Tender lamb shanks in a mint gravy

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Frenched Lamb Shanks
  • 2 Tbsp Plain Flour
  • Pinch Salt
  • Pinch Pepper
  • 1 Cup Mint Jelly
  • 1 Cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Cup Water

Equipment

  • 1 Slow Cooker

Method
 

  1. Place flour, salt and pepper in a freezer bag, toss the lamb shanks in the flour.
  2. Place the Shanks in a greased slow cooker bowl.
  3. Mix the sauces and water together.
  4. Pour over the shanks and cook on low for 7-8 hours
  5. Serve with mashed potato.

Notes

If the sauce is too thin place in a small saucepan and simmer until reduced by half.
