Roasted Maple Parsnips and Pears

Firm William Pears

Pure Maple Syrup
or Honey

Dijon Mustard

Fresh Thyme leaves
or 1 tsp dried
Instructions
Heat the butter honey and mustard in the microwave or small saucepan, add thyme leave.
Peel the parsnips and cut into small wedges.
Cut the pears into 8 and remove core.
On a lined baking tray toss the pears and parsnips with the honey mixture.
Bake in oven 180C for 40-50 minutes or until cooked and golden, stir them at least once during cooking to ensure they cook evenly.
Notes
Delicious served as a side to a special meal.
