BBQ Pork Spareribs

American style ribs in a plum pauce

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Pork Rib Racks-American style Approx 1 kg
  • 1 Tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 Cup Plum Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup BBQ Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce

Method
 

  1. Combine sauces and paprika and rub over the rib racks, leave to marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  2. Preheat oven 170 C.
  3. Drain off marinade and reserve, boiling for at least 5 minutes and use as a baste for the ribs.
  4. Bake Ribs covered in oven 1 1/2 hours. You could also cook this step in the slow cooker for 6 hours.
  5. Uncover and drain off any liquid, bake a further 1 hour basting with the reserved marinade every 15 minutes.
  6. Serve with plenty of serviettes and enjoy.
