Air fried gnocchi

Gnocchi can be cooked in many ways but I have only just discovered how good it can taste when you cook it in the air fryer. Coated in oil and seasonings then cooked in the air fryer until crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, they are delicious with your favourite dipping sauce.

Excellent served as a finger food option with aioli or on a salad.

You can change the seasonings to your liking Paprika, Smoked Paprika, Moroccan spice mix just to name a few.

Equipment

  • Air fryer

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Gnocchi, Fresh or Shelf -stable I use Otway Pasta Company
  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil I use Grampians Olive Co
  • 2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese, finely gated I use Symons Organic Dairy Co
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning I use Screaming Seeds
  • 1 tsp Salt I use Black Garlic Salt

Instructions
 

  • To a bowl add oil, cheese and seasonings, stir to combine.
  • Add the gnocchi and toss to coat.
  • Preheat air fryer 4 minutes at 190C.
  • Cook Gnocchi in the basket for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy, shaking the basket 2-3 times.
  • Serve with any dipping sauce or flavoured mayonnaise.
