This dish uses the best of premade ingredients for a no fuss meal that can be on the table in 40 minutes or so, if you make your own sauce or gnocchi it will take more time, but by not first boiling the gnocchi saves you time as the gnocchi cooks in the oven in the sauce.
I always try to have the ingredients for something like this on hand for those busy nights when you come home late and don’t feel like cooking. Creamy Tomato Gnocchi Bake
Gnocchi baked in a creamy tomato sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 Pkt Fresh gnocchi I use Otway Pasta Co
- 1 Pkt Fresh Pasta sauce I use Otway Pasta Co
- 200 ml Cream I use Schulz Pure cream
- 50 gm Grated Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat Oven 180C
- Grease an ovenproof dish and place the uncooked gnocchi in it.
- Combine pasta sauce, cream and spinach if using, in a pan heating a few minutes then pour over gnocchi.
- Sprinkle with cheese and bake approximately 40 minutes or until golden.
Notes
Bacon, mushrooms, zucchini, capsicum, eggplant would all be good additions to this dish, if using just fry off for a couple of minutes in olive oil before adding sauce and cream.
